Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Here are the rules for packages, rescheduling and cancelling one-on-one language classes.
Package Validity Periods
- Accent and Clarity Assessment – valid for 21 days
- Maintenance Pack – valid for 50 days
- 3-Month Accent Clarity Transformation – valid for 100 days
Any sessions not scheduled or completed within the validity period will be forfeited. Validity starts from the date of purchase.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Rules
✅ Cancellation with 24 Hours' Notice or More
If you can't attend your session, you must notify me at least 24 hours before the class is due to start. It's that simple. I will not deduct it from your pack and you can reschedule to an alternative date.
⚠️ Cancellation with Less than 24 Hours' Notice
If you let me know less than 24 hours before the start time, this will count as a cancellation and I will deduct the session from your pack.
❌ No Show
A no-show is when a student does not log on to Zoom or contact the teacher at the time of the lesson. If you miss your session in this way, your class will be deducted from your pack. I will wait 10 minutes for you, and if you do not arrive within those 10 minutes, I will mark your session as a no-show.
An email reminder is sent 24 hours before and 1 hour before your scheduled session. However, it is your responsibility to ensure you attend your session on time.
🕐 Arriving Late
If you arrive late to a session, but within the first 10 minutes of the scheduled period, the class will still go ahead. However, if I have another class scheduled immediately after yours, we will still need to end at the scheduled time.
What If the Teacher Needs to Cancel or Is Late?
Teacher Cancellation
If I ever need to cancel a session for any reason, you'll have the option to reschedule. I promise to give you as much notice as possible.
Teacher Running Late
I commit to providing quality language sessions for the full agreed time. If I arrive late and you cannot complete the full time of the class, you will have the opportunity to make up the missed minutes at the end or start of the next class.
Cancellation of the Accent Clarity Transformation Program
I understand that circumstances can change, and my aim is always to support you in getting the most value from your program. If something isn’t working as expected, I encourage you to raise it early so we can address it where appropriate.
Assessment Call and Program Credit
The initial Accent Assessment Call is a paid professional service and is non-refundable once delivered. If you choose to enrol in the Accent Clarity Transformation Program, the assessment fee is credited toward the total program cost.
If you decide not to proceed with the program after the assessment, the assessment fee is retained as payment for the diagnostic evaluation, feedback, and recommendations provided.
If Cancellation Is the Only Option
The Accent Clarity Transformation Program: This is a personalised 1:1 coaching program offered as either a one-time payment or a three-part payment plan.
Regardless of payment method, you may request cancellation and a refund of the program fee at any time before the first coaching session takes place. In this case, the Accent Assessment fee ($297) is retained as payment for the assessment and is not refundable.
Once the first coaching session has occurred, the program is considered to have commenced. From this point onward, all program payments become non-refundable, as they cover personalised planning, lesson delivery, and reserved session time.
I reserve the right to suspend or cancel a program if a student demonstrates a lack of commitment to their learning. This may include repeated cancellations, no-shows, or failure to engage with the agreed program structure.
I also reserve the right to decline continuation of the program if it is no longer considered a suitable fit. This helps maintain a focused and productive learning environment.
Cancellation of Online Courses
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You have seven (7) calendar days from the date of enrolment to request a refund for eligible online courses, provided that no more than 15% of the course content has been accessed.
All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@aussieenglishwithamanda.com.
Refund requests made outside this seven-day period will not be granted, except where required by law. The Company reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of abusive use of the platform or breach of these Terms.
The Australian Pronunciation Studio is purchased as a one-time enrolment with six (6) months’ access. Access automatically expires at the end of this period. Students will be given the option to renew access for a further six (6) months or three (3) months, or to upgrade into private coaching with a maintenance plan.
