Amanda Boyce

Amanda Boyce — Australian English Teacher and Accent Specialist

Amanda Boyce is a Certified English Teacher and Accent Trainer, and the founder of Aussie English with Amanda. She created The Australian Accent Clarity Method to help professionals master the specific sounds, rhythm, and listening skills needed for Australian English.

Since 2020, our team has helped engineers, IT specialists, healthcare workers, and business professionals go from being asked to repeat themselves to leading meetings with confidence.

Our focus isn't grammar or test prep. It's the specific sounds, rhythm, and listening skills that change how people respond to you in real Australian workplaces and social settings.

I know exactly what it feels like to live in a country where the language and culture aren't yours. Since 2019, I've been living in India, learning Hindi, navigating a new culture, and figuring out how to belong somewhere that isn't home. So when my students tell me they feel one step behind, or that they hesitate before they speak, I don't just understand it professionally. I've lived it.

I became an accent specialist because I believe your voice deserves to be heard clearly, not just tolerated. And I built this program around the method I wish someone had given me.

This is the exact framework and step-by-step process used with 1:1 clients. Inside the community, we hand it to you.

Frameworks for what to do and in what order.

A system for staying consistent (even on busy days).

Tools that make it easier to follow through.

Now I Know

Already confident, and wanted people to stop assuming she was French straight away. Now guests ask her to repeat herself far less.

"I hate public speaking, and even more when it's in English, but actually, I didn't feel stressed, I had confidence."
"

I've watched hundreds of videos on YouTube and I'm following many teachers on social media, and I have to tell you that this is the best course and resource I've ever seen. You address some questions and topics that I have been asking about for months, and even my colleagues in Australia haven't been able to answer. It's amazing. I feel like with every video I can practise something new. It's evident how dedicated, professional, and passionate you are about what you do.

"

I feel more aware of how Australians speak, especially how they connect words and shorten sounds in everyday conversations. I use English every day at work, speaking with customers over the phone, so clear communication is very important to me. I have noticed that I am becoming clearer and more comfortable, and I don't need to ask people to repeat themselves as often. I still have things to improve, but I can see progress.

What Students Are Saying

Verified reviews — straight from Google

Sound Familiar?

  • You've been asked to repeat yourself one too many times and now you hesitate before you even speak
  • Your ideas are strong but the room doesn't respond the way it does when someone else says the same thing
  • You avoid phone calls, talk over people by accident, or zone out because Australian speech is just too fast
  • You've tried apps, YouTube, general English classes. Nothing stuck because none of it gave you real feedback
  • You're busy. You need something structured that actually fits around your life

You're not struggling because you're not trying. You're struggling because nothing you've tried gives you actual feedback on your actual voice. Apps don't listen to you. YouTube can't tell you what to fix. General English classes don't touch pronunciation at all.

So you practise in the dark, unsure if you're improving, and the self-doubt keeps building every time someone says "sorry, what?"

It's Not You. It's Your Method.

Random tips without sequencing, generic plans without personalisation, practise without feedback — that's why nothing has worked. It's not about trying harder. It's about having a method that actually targets your pronunciation patterns and tells you what to fix.

The gap is the system, not the effort.

01

Sound Mastery

Learn exactly how to produce every Australian English sound, so you stop guessing and start knowing.

02

Listening Intelligence

Train your ear to follow fast, natural Australian speech so you're never one step behind in conversation.

03

Practice & Feedback

Get weekly feedback on your actual voice from our teaching team, so you know what's improving and what to focus on next.

When all three work together with a clear structure and real accountability, progress stops feeling random and starts feeling inevitable.

The SCAF System: What Makes This Different

Structure, Community, Accountability, and Feedback — the four elements that turn pronunciation practice into lasting transformation.

Ever wondered why you understand Australian English perfectly but still hesitate when it's your turn to speak?

It's not your effort. It's not your intelligence.

It's the SCAF System — or rather, the lack of it.

Most pronunciation programs give you videos and exercises, then leave you to figure it out alone. That's why people watch everything, practise for weeks, and still feel stuck.

The SCAF System is different:

SSTRUCTURE:

Clear progression through modules. Always know what to work on next.

CCOMMUNITY:

Private group, practice rooms, monthly calls. You're not alone.

AACCOUNTABILITY:

Weekly feedback submissions + monthly coaching. Actually follow through.

FFEEDBACK:

Personalised guidance on YOUR voice. No more guessing.

When all four work together? That's when speaking stops feeling like a performance and starts feeling natural.

Everyday practice that actually fits your routine. No rigid schedules that take over your life.

Confidence from small wins that add up. See progress in weeks, not years.

Quicker, calmer decisions because you know exactly what to practise next.

What Changes When You Join

  • You know exactly what to practise and in what order — no more guessing
  • You get personalised feedback on your recordings every week, so you can hear yourself improving
  • You build confidence that carries into meetings, client calls, and everyday conversations
  • You keep going because you're supported, not left to figure it out alone
  • You finally understand Australian humour, slang, and speech rhythm — so you feel like you actually belong

No more guessing. No more "I'll try again next week." Just a clear path, real feedback, and steady progress.

Picture This...

You walk into Monday's meeting and speak first. Your idea lands. Nobody asks you to repeat yourself.

You sound like yourself, just clearer. No fake accent. No performance. Just natural, confident speech.

You follow along in fast conversations, catch the jokes, and actually feel like you belong in the room.

Your manager notices. Your clients respond differently. You stop being passed over.

That's what The Studio gives you. A clear method, real feedback, and support that keeps you going.

The Cost of Waiting

Here's What Staying Stuck Is Actually Costing You

Think about how often this happens to you already.

0
times a week you stay quiet instead of speaking up in a meeting
0
times a month you let a call go to voicemail instead of picking it up
0
times a year someone less capable gets the credit instead of you

You're not just staying quiet. You're handing your opportunities to someone else. How much longer can you afford to wait?

She's currently pursuing a PhD in sociophonetics, exploring how learner language, pronunciation and listener attitudes shape learners' sense of belonging in the target society, which is exactly what this program is built around.

She has a particular connection to Australian English, having lived in Australia for two and a half years and spoken Aussie English daily for several years. She has also worked directly with speech data as a Voice Data Evaluator and speaks five languages: Finnish (her native language), English, Spanish, Swedish and French.

She's passionate about fostering empathy, meaningful connection and belonging. She believes we're all works in progress, and that making mistakes, growing and embracing our differences can lead to something really meaningful. She's the person listening through your recordings each week.

"Thanks for your feedback last week. It has helped me much already as there were a couple of surprises to me in some pronunciations that you pointed out :). I am really glad I have started this journey!!"

"A big thank you to Jade as well! The feedback I received from you has been amazing and genuinely helpful. It helps me understand where I'm going wrong, where I'm lacking, and what I need to work on."

"I enjoyed the feedback from Jade as well, she is a very attentive teacher and gives amazing feedback. Now you have a strong team!"

"The weekly homework feedback has been the best part. Amanda checked my pronunciation word for word and pointed out sounds I didn't even realise were inaccurate. I've noticed I use the t-flap more naturally now, even just asking for water in a restaurant, and I've started slowing down when I speak so I can focus on clarity."

"Learning about diphthongs was a real 'wow' moment for me. It explained why I'd been pronouncing certain words incorrectly for years. I used to mispronounce words like 'burger,' and after practising the techniques, I can hear and pronounce it accurately now. I feel so much more confident in everyday conversations."

Is The Studio Right For You?

An honest look, both ways.

The Studio is probably not for you if:

  • ✕ You're just starting out and need beginner-level grammar and vocabulary support first
  • ✕ You're chasing a "neutral" accent that erases where you're from, rather than clarity
  • ✕ You're looking for grammar or vocabulary lessons rather than pronunciation and speaking confidence
  • ✕ You want a quick fix with no practice between sessions
  • ✕ You're not ready to record and submit your own voice for weekly feedback

The Studio is for you if:

  • ✓ You're a professional or postgraduate who's been living in Australia for a while and your English is strong, but your spoken English still lets you down at the wrong moments
  • ✓ You've been asked to repeat yourself one too many times and you're tired of that sinking feeling
  • ✓ You want to sound clear in Australian English without losing your identity or putting on a fake accent
  • ✓ You want real feedback on your actual pronunciation, not just more grammar exercises
  • ✓ You're ready for a structured plan that fits your schedule and keeps you accountable

You've put in the effort. You just need a method that finally meets you where you are.

Everything You Get

  • Complete Training — 3 modules covering sounds, connected speech, and word endings, plus a dedicated Engaging with Australian Media bonus module
  • Australian Accent Listening Lessons — a rotating library of listening lessons, refreshed regularly, with shadowing, vocab, and transcripts
  • Weekly Homework Feedback — Personalised email feedback from our teaching team every week
  • Monthly Live Q&As — 6 live sessions with Amanda
  • Voice Practice Rooms — Peer practice in a supportive community
  • Heartbeat Community Platform — Chat threads, announcements, and wins
  • Diving Deep into Australian Culture — Bonus ($297 value)
  • Pausing for Clarity Masterclass Replay — Bonus ($197 value)
  • Professional Development E-Book Bundle — 5 books ($67.99 value)

Less guessing. More clarity.

Less overwhelm. More follow-through.

Less "start again." More steady results.

A kinder path that actually fits your life. Change that lasts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a payment plan?+
Yes, you can pay in full or in two payments over two months.
When does private access close?+
Monday 23 November at 11:59pm AEDT. After that the VIP price and the VIP-only bonuses don't come back.
How does the 1:1 session work?+
The first five people to join each get a 30-minute one-on-one session with Amanda.
What is the AEWA app?+
A pronunciation practice app built on the Studio's practice materials. VIPs get 6 months of beta access, starting straight away.
Will this work if my schedule is unpredictable?+
Yes. All course materials are self-paced, so you can learn whenever suits you. The listening lessons and pronunciation modules are available immediately. Watch and practise on your schedule. Weekly homework feedback gives you accountability without rigid deadlines, and monthly Q&As are recorded if you can't attend live.
What if I've tried pronunciation programs before and nothing stuck?+
Most programs give you random tips without structure or personalised feedback. This community combines a proven step-by-step system, weekly feedback on your actual recordings, and ongoing support. You're not guessing if you're doing it right. You'll know exactly what to improve each week.
Do I have to follow a strict plan?+
Not at all. The course modules are structured to build on each other, but you move at your own pace. Some members work through one lesson per week; others binge multiple lessons. The listening practice rotates every 3 months, and you choose what to submit for weekly feedback. Flexibility is built in.
How much time will this take each week?+
For most members, around 1 to 2 hours per week is enough to make steady progress. That typically looks like 30 minutes on a course lesson, 30 to 45 minutes on a listening lesson, and 15 to 20 minutes to record and submit your weekly homework. It's genuinely that manageable.

If you want to move through the content faster, you can easily add more lesson time. But that's the intensive end, not the expectation. Thirty minutes a day, a few days a week, will get you there.
What if I miss a week or fall behind?+
Life happens. You have full access to all materials for 6 months, so there's no "falling behind." If you miss a week of homework feedback, just pick up the following week. Monthly Q&As are recorded. The community is supportive, not judgmental. Progress over perfection.
How soon can I expect to notice changes?+
Most members start noticing small improvements within 2 to 3 weeks: clearer pronunciation of specific sounds, better understanding of fast speech, more confidence when speaking. Significant transformation typically happens over 8 to 12 weeks of consistent practise. This is a marathon, not a sprint, but you'll see progress along the way.
What kind of support do I get?+
You get weekly personalised feedback on your recordings (48-hour turnaround), monthly live Q&A sessions with Amanda, access to the community platform for peer support, and voice practice rooms to practise with other members. Amanda is actively engaged in the community DMs and discussions.
What happens after the 6 months ends?+
After 6 months, you lose access to the community platform and video lessons. However, you can download all PDFs and audio files to keep practising on your own. If you want to continue, you're welcome to sign up for another cohort.
Is this only for people who want to sound Australian?+
No. This is for anyone who wants to speak clearly and be understood in Australian English. You're not trying to "sound Aussie" or lose your identity. You're learning to pronounce sounds correctly, understand fast speech, and communicate confidently in Australian contexts. You'll still sound like you.
What if I'm not sure this is right for me?+
That's what the 14-day guarantee is for. Join, explore the materials, submit your first recording, attend a Q&A if available. If it's not the right fit within 14 days, contact us and you'll get a full refund, no questions asked.

You're Already Trying. Now Make It Work.

You've put in the hours. The apps, the YouTube videos, the classes. The effort has never been the problem. What's been missing is a structured method that gives you real feedback on your specific pronunciation patterns and keeps you accountable week after week.

You're ready for this. And this time, you won't be doing it alone.
